Cleartrip has announced the release of its revamped official Android app today. Available as an update for existing users or a fresh install for new users in Google Play, the app now fully adheres of Android’s Holo design guidelines.
The previous Android app was a nightmare to use and when the revamped iOS app launched people made a huge noise for an improved Android app, which has finally come today.
The Cleartrip app now also includes Android exclusive features like upcoming trips, as well as two column split screen for International flights. The app has the regular features where one can search & book domestic and international flights. There is also one-touch booking with
Expressway. You can save travelers so that you need not enter details every time. Trips can be accessed even when you are offline. You can also go paperless by showing your trip details to airport security at airports that accept it.
While one can book flights with the app, clicking on Hotels or Trains takes you to the mobile site. We are not sure why this is not included in the app itself.
